While 2021 holds promise for widespread COVID-19 vaccination, it also brings with it complicated new employment laws and a Biden/Harris Administration which, with the aid of a Democratic Congress, stands to dramatically alter workplace laws around the country and here in California. New laws on the books affect family and medical leave, sick leave, discrimination and harassment, and an employer’s obligations in dealing with COVID-19.
