Glen Kraemer Presenting at Rotary World Peace Conference
January 15, 2016 @ 12:00 am - 9:00 am
HK Founding Partner Glen Kraemer will be leading a discussion entitled Eliminating “Violence to the Spirit:” Working Toward an Organizational Culture of Empowerment and Peace.
Acts of physical violence in the workplace are often the tragic end-result of an organizational culture that shies away from bullying, intimidation, and status-blind harassment as something to be tolerated, if not viewed as acceptable by-products of a high-performing culture. Glen will explore the starting point of the “pathway to violence,” focusing on the identification and elimination of abusive conduct as a critical first step in creating a thriving workforce. He concludes with an exploration of the common traits of effective leaders who create a culture of fairness, accountability, and trust.
Participants will be provided “best practice” personnel management tools to create a compassionate, collegial workplace unfettered by threat, status-blind harassment, and counterproductive behaviors.
