Each year, no more than 5% of California lawyers in private practice are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. The “Rising Star” designation is even more selective – only 2.5% of California lawyers in practice less than 10 years are honored.

Annual selections are made using a patented process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
