Dan Handman on THR Considers Passing of Ailes’ Impact on Fox News Litigation

Daniel H. Handman is quoted in The Hollywood Reporter (THR) article titled, “How Roger Ailes’ Death Could Complicate Legal Claims Over His Fox News Tenure.” The piece considers the impact of the passing of former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes on ongoing sexual harassment litigation tied to him and his time at the channel.

Handman noted that Fox News lost an important witness to rebuff accusers’ accounts; but, Ailes’ death may entice all parties to reach settlements. “Sometimes you don’t want to be seen as stepping on a dead man’s grave. How much more do you have to ruin his reputation after he’s dead?”
